Anapuri Villas Pabean Beach, Bali has made it to the shortlist for the Asia-Pacific Design & Architecture Awards 2013.

The project was submitted by PT Cempaka Interior, who were responsible for the complete interior design of this 4 villa project on the beach in Bali.

The 4 rental villas range from a 1 bedroom to a 7 bedroom property and follow the natural themes of Earth, Wind, Fire and Water.

The client wanted the complex to reflect its exotic location without being stereotypically Balinese. The property should offer all the luxury facilities of a 5 star hotel, but should feel more like a comfortable home.

The over-riding consideration for this project was to maximize the views of the sea. All buildings and layouts take this into account and offer breathtaking ocean views.

One of the key reasons is that the brief was clear and the design team was very experienced in following this style philosophy. With Cempaka designing and supplying the furniture we were able to ensure accuracy and top quality finishing.

What made this project possible was having a very good understanding with the client. Their vision was great and they were prepared to invest heavily to achieve this vision, while trusting the design team and allowing them some flexibility.
