Returning to Capri in June 2019 the event celebrates the finest hospitality designs of recent years.
The International Hotel & Property Awards ceremony will take place on Friday 28 June 2019 at the historic Grand Hotel Quisisana, Capri. The hotel, situated directly on the glamorous boutique-lined Via Camerelle, is an icon of the hospitality industry and the perfect setting for these awards.
TICKET APPLICATIONS
Ticket and table applications for The Hotel & Property Awards 2019 are now available. Due to a huge increase in the number of companies shortlisted in The International Hotel & Property Awards this year, there are now fewer premier tables available to book in advance. The number of shortlisted companies in 2019 is up by 52% on last year, we are therefore anticipating a higher demand for additional tickets and premier tables for 2019 and advise that reservations and bookings are made as soon as possible.
The evening will begin with a Welcome Cocktail in the fragrant gardens overlooking the Mediterranean and an unforgettable view of the Faraglion. Guests are then invited to take their seats in the Liberty-style theatre for a sumptuous dinner preceding the evenings main event, the Awards ceremony itself, where Sponsors will announce the Winners of each category and present their Awards. The evening concludes with the opportunity to celebrate, enjoy the entertainment and soak up the atmosphere at the after party – included within the ticket prices listed below. THE INTERNATIONAL HOTEL & PROPERTY AWARDS VENUE
The International Hotel & Property Awards ceremony will take place on Friday 28th June 2019 at the historic Grand Hotel Quisisana, Capri located on the glamorous Via Camerelle and just steps from Capri town’s central Piazzetta.
Located in the heart of Capri, the Grand Hotel Quisisana is synonymous with island glitz, having attracted an exclusive crowd since opening in 1860. Originally built in 1845 as a sanatorium (Quisisana means ‘here one heals’), the hotel is steeped in history; a Liberty-style theatre was designed by the famous architect Giò Ponti in 1929. Over the years, movie stars, royalty, politicians and heads of state, have passed through the marble lobby and admired the surrounding natural beauty of the hotel’s manicured park.
TRAVELLING TO CAPRI
Hydrofoils and ferries to Capri depart from Naples and Sorrento. In the summer months, sea crossings are also available from Positano, Amalfi, Salerno and the island of Ischia.
Times of crossings are subject to variation and it’s always a good idea to check the hydrofoil and ferry schedule before you travel to the port.

When you arrive in the port of Marina Grande you can choose which form of transport to use to reach Capri’s Piazzetta.
Funicular train: the journey from Marina Grande to Capri’s Piazzetta takes just 3 minutes and the train departs every 15 minutes.
The entrance to the funicular train station is located directly opposite the arrival docks.
Taxi: a line of taxis, the majority of which are open-top cabs, wait for passengers by the arrival docks.
Grand Hotel Quisisana is located on Via Camerelle which, like the rest of the historic center of Capri, is a traffic-free zone.
We do not recommend accommodation as it depends on personal preference and budget. We can only suggest using search sites such as www.booking.com or www.hotels.com to look for accommodation close to the venue. There is plenty to choose from with all manner of preferences catered for.
