This vibrant living space in Austin, Texas designed by Bandd Design is the perfect setting for entertaining guests whilst maintaining a comfortable homely feel.
Bandd Design were tasked with enhancing this dull new build and transforming it into a family friendly vibrant entertaining home. By swapping builder-grade finishes with more sophisticated materials Bandd Design were able to create a home that was full of colour and character. The clients design brief enabled Bandd Design to be spontaneous with their design and this shows in the vast jewel-toned colour palette that was used throughout the project.
The client, a young family, are avid art collectors. They have unique pieces from all over the world which gave Bannd Design a unique direction for the overall design. With the client’s fun collection of original pieces to play with, Bandd Design made sure the home was not only quirky but also liveable. It was important that the home was suitable for the clients two children as well as the numerous guests that they host for parties regularly.
To complement the artwork scattered around the home, unique items of furniture were also sourced. The furniture in the living space is not only functional and timeless but they also marry into the surrounding interior design perfectly. From the bold colours and quirky nature of the artwork, velvet blues of the sofa and the rich teak of the sideboard, this property flawlessly blends different colours and design styles together to create one harmonious property.
