TREC have been shortlisted for Residential £5 Million Plus (Property by Value) Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2020.
TREC LLC and TREC Realty proudly present Villa Miramonte, completed in summer 2019 with its glorious water views, walkability and turnkey living combined through a balance of classical architecture with modern function and inspired by the simplicity of the great villas on the shores of Lake Lugano and Lake Como, this new build is not to be missed.
The house is over 8882 square feet on four balanced levels, an elevator servicing all floors, including a roof deck and outdoor kitchen with sweeping water views across the Long Island Sound and Connecticut coastline on the Belle Haven Peninsula in Greenwich, CT.
Custom LePage windows and doors offer quiet and light filled interiors. A three-story foyer with a custom metal skylight and eight light front door sets the tone for a calming neutral colour palette. European limestone, marble and wood floors, custom cabinetry and mouldings provide the perfect backdrop for any style. Kitchen, dining room and living room open to a waterfront European designed garden; the wet bar, butler’s pantry and den are open on both sides and can easily closed off for privacy.
There are three entrances to the house, the side door off the garage breezeway, the mudroom and formal entrance that welcomes you through the foyer. All four levels have a relaxed elegance and design, this, combined with state-of-the-art construction and technology, provides an enhanced modern living style. The master suite has a gas fireplace, 40-foot waterfront deck wired with marine speakers, two walk-in closets, steam shower, bathtub and remote-control Lutron shades. There are four additional en-suite guest bedrooms and a 3rd floor viewing room and large eyebrow window. The lower level guest suite, kitchenette, lounge, full bath, separate laundry and 1500 SF bonus space/game room. This half-acre oasis is sustainable and built with low maintenance in mind. Keep your boat across the cove at the Greenwich Boat and Yacht Club and enjoy the 25-acre park that is walking distance from the front door.
This project was inspired by the great villas on the shores of Lake Lugano and Lake Como. Having gone to Franklin College in Lake Lugano, Jennifer Roach, TREC’s founder, was inspired by the classical and comfortable architecture that has proven the test of time. Many of those houses were built with structural challenges, i.e., tight lots and extreme grade elevations. So, when TREC reviewed the property, it became a fun challenge, not a drawback.
