Riverside Living is a London based apartment designed within a prestigious Norman Foster building overlooking the River Thames.
Broosk Saib used his tailored approach to re-design this 130 square metre space establishing Riverside Living into the most sought-after Bachelor pad esque apartment in London. The challenge with this project was to overcome the uneven and non symmetrical feel that the apartment first retained. This project allowed Broosk to explore and experiment with strong contemporary design elements and accents of art deco, in turn, characterising the apartment with strong colour’s and carefully designed furniture and lighting. Broosk wanted to create a lifestyle that provided the client with a luxurious and stylish, yet comfortable home that really gave you the feel of being on the water anywhere in the world. The use of navy throughout the apartment, sumptuous fabrics and unusual materials gave a yacht luxurious feel to it. The semi precious stones and onyxes was really to integrate the overall look and style bringing all the finest details together.
The key aspect of this project was designing an apartment that was inspired by a yacht interior and the feeling of being on the water. The design work so well because Riverside Living exquisite aesthetics has only the highest and very best quality design elements from the use of lacquered wood, semi precious stones and onyx to carefully designed lighting to create the aura of being on the water. To create a bachelor pad and yacht style living space this project carefully maintains the elements of luxury married with comfort throughout which really demonstrated a good understanding of the requirements and desires of everyday living.
