design et al are pleased to announce yet another successful shortlist for Camellia Interiors, this time for the Kitchen Design over £25,000 with their Looe Beach House project.
The clients approached Camellia Interiors to oversee and project manage the renovation of their entire property and grounds. On an all new engineered timber floor in dark grey, the kitchen space is zoned into three separate areas. Each has its own materials, colour and texture – allowing for the open plan space to feel both spacious and intimate.
The dishwashing and wet areas are in wenge timber, the cooking and food preparation areas are in a dark grey matt laminate, the storage units are in glossy dark grey laminate and all areas have Silestone worktops in an off white. Materials were selected for both their functionality and high quality – perfect for a luxurious entertainment and social environment.
A coffee machine and preparation space is another area within the kitchen, with the same materials as the ‘wet’ areas. The kitchen’s dining space features a beautiful, large table, perfect for socialising. The wall of glass windows allow for the family to cook, dine and entertain with the breathtaking Cornish views right in front of them. By installing sliding doors, the clients can extend their kitchen area to the decking, where they can enjoy the outdoors in luxury. The overall kitchen design meets all of the clients’ wishes and needs; a high-end spec setting, up to date appliances and the ability to entertain in a luxurious atmosphere.
