Congratulations to Celine Estates shortlisted for Bedroom Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2017

design et al are delighted to announce that Celine Estates have been shortlisted for Bedroom Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards 2017.

Celine Estates were given a design brief for a property in Hans Place, one of the most iconic residential squares in prime central London. The complete refurbishment of this property has permanently transformed the space into an elegant and luxurious family residence. Celine Estates have created a design that is not only tailored to accommodate a modern family but that has also enhanced and maintained the historic integrity of the original interior and fabric. CE_HANS_ 348The use of the delicate silk on the lamp shades marries together wonderfully with the bespoke Fromental silk wallpaper that runs throughout the property. The subtle hints of green throughout are reflective of the beautiful garden views from the windows. The mixture of textures and patterns such as the floral bed linen and the detailing on the wallpaper transform the bedroom into an organic soft garden space. The natural palette visually opens the room with eye catching items with hints of contemporary design such as the lampshade, lending excitement to every corner of the room. The white marble en-suite is bejewelled with an exquisite bespoke mirror. Celine Estates combines modern elegance with touches of architectural detail throughout. The furniture has been carefully selected to blend harmoniously with an array of decorative objects.CE_HANS_ 355The 1,220 square foot apartment which was fully refurbished and its interior designed to the highest of specifications. The design not only meets but also surpasses luxury living standards and caters fully for both aesthetic and utility requirements. Within the actual property only premium luxury brands and unique bespoke items were utilised; such as commissioned sculptures and glass work fully integrated Miele appliances within a bronze mirrored bespoke kitchen and Fromental silk wallpaper throughout the property. Celine Estates believe the design works so well because it integrates beauty and functionality into a family home and is a perfect accompaniment to the prime central garden square within which it overlooks and is located. The designers believe that the property creates a sense of luxury that is well suited to its location since they have transformed it from a dated two bedroom property two a newly refurbished luxury three bedroom family home.
