design et al are delighted to announce that Birgit Israel have been shortlisted for Flooring – Carpet/Rug Award in The Product Design Categories within The International Design and Architecture Awards 2017
This project has been titled Geometric Rug, depicted by the use of lines and shapes.
A hand tufted and hand knotted tactile rug, featuring a variety of different geometric shapes, intricate lines and colour gradation. Only the finest quality silks, wool and lurex have been used to produce these rugs, which are highly durable and rich in texture. A bespoke contemporary design made specifically to required dimensions and colour variations are also available.
Birgit Israel collections have been inspired by her love for history, travel, traditional craftsmanship and beauty. Using classic materials to thoughtfully design, detail and craft each piece, Israel’s timeless elegance stands out throughout the collections. With an aim to transform her 20 years’ experience into handcrafted bespoke pieces, Birgit Israel brings the Geometric and Circular Rug into the BI signature collection.
