design et al are delighted to announce that Blainey North & Associates have been shortlisted for Lighting – Pendant/Chandelier Award within The International Design and Architecture Awards 2017.
A unique pendant lamp made of finely crafted brass, rods of glass and leather. The light feels like it has been de-coupled from a larger piece of machinery, yet it is smooth and polished, perfectly proportioned and intriguing.
The glass rods are held by stepped metal shaped, where a leather harness bisects to metal suspension points, which in turn relate to a metal cuff that grips the glass rods
