The Threesome Coffee Table is composed of three blocks of distinct materials – Calacatta marble, lacquered and brushed stainless steel. The juxtaposition of different materials and the visual intrigue created by it’s three blocks, underlines the luxurious design of this sculptural piece.
The coffee table is included in the luxury furniture collection created by interior designer Cristina Jorge de Carvalho. The collection presents four different Lines that explore the essence of form and materials in diverse ways. The Threesome Coffee Table comprises the Higher Love line which takes marble as its main material, mixing it with different metallic elements, like stainless steel and brass, searching for new ways to elevate furniture items while also keeping in mind the ultimate function.
The interesting visual game created by the three blocks and the way the materials work with each other gives the piece its contemporary yet timeless feel. The lines of the Threesome Coffee Table were meticulously studied in order to achieve the desired effect – a table made of three different blocks that is characterized by its harmony. The combination of the different materials is a signature of Cristina Jorge de Carvalho’ aesthetic, from her interior design projects to her furniture collection, and is here highlighted by the unique design of this piece.
