design et al are delighted to announce that dwp have been shortlisted for Interior Design scheme – Asia Pacific Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2019.
dwp designed the modern classic interiors for luxurious ‘Londonesque’ residential homes, Malton 31, on a secluded plot of land, on Sukhumvit 31 in the middle of Bangkok. The design concept was “Homage to Harmony” – timeless design that reflects contemporary classic architecture.
The seven super luxury private residences drew inspiration from the timeless debonair style of an art collector. The resulting homes are glamourous avant garde sanctuaries. All the modern amenities presented in an elegant design.
Each property in the project is perfectly placed to maximise the flow of natural light with large windows that allow views of landscape gardens. Further enhanced by subtle lighting features. Dark shades contrast with neutral colours to define interior spaces.
On the ground floor, the foyer welcomes guests with a Herringbone pattern in black and white marble. The main living areas feature a double-height ceiling with a marble feature wall and mouldings made of contemporary materials such as brass, stainless steel rather than traditional wood. Accessorised by frosted glass with pattern gold detailing, and a hanging sculptural chandelier made from artisanal glass in the shape of angel wings. Modern furniture sits on a classic marble flooring adding opulence and contemporary beauty.
The master bedroom has black molding to add contrast and style with walls upholstered in leather for softness and sensuality. A frosted glass wall leads to the bathroom for a sense of spaciousness and connectivity. Over the free-standing bathtub a glass roof bathes the room in natural sun or moon light.
dwp created understated classic designs using top of the range brands to accessorise and ensure lasting quality from the private car parking, elevator and garden areas through to the bedrooms, living rooms, maid’s room, laundry area, Axor bathrooms and Poggenpohl kitchens.
