design et al are delighted to announce the further success of FBEYE International who have had their project, Favola shortlisted yet again in The International Hotel and Property Awards 2016 for a Restaurant within a Hotel Award.
A rustic refuge in the otherwise modern interiors of the Le Meridien Dhaka Hotel, Favola welcomes diners into era of transition where classic Italian gastronomy infuses with contemporary flavours. The abstract expressions of art and culture which grace the hotel give way to the warm feel of a home in Italy where guests can share a close meal with loved ones and business associates alike. The exposed red brickwork, elaborate tile-work and wooden furnishings bring an air of old Italy, whilst the high archways and complimentary earthy neutrals ensure that space is still felt in this intimate setting. Natural elements such as the wooden flooring which compliments the tables in tone, pair with the low ceiling to bring in warmth and draw the guest’s focus into the company shared at the table.
The delicious aromas emanating from the fire-oven,which takes center-stage in the open-style kitchen, reveal the delicious menu available which consists of soups, salads, handmade pasta and pizzas fresh from the fire-oven. Breaking the barriers between the kitchen and the guests provides a feel of warmth and inclusion as diners enjoy both the sights and aromas of their dishes being crafted from fresh.
