Congratulations to Nude Design Limited who have been shortlisted for Living Space Global Award

design et al are delighted to announce that Nude Design Limited  have been shortlisted for Living Space Global in The International Design And Architecture Awards 2016

A delicate blend of traditional classic details is harmonized against a light palette to rejuvenate a 50 year old apartment. The use of rich fabrics, vintage antiques and bold colours produce a sophisticated and elegant timeless appeal. The property is located in a renowned district in Kong Kong as both a modern buzzing urban district with pockets of Chinese old charming buildings and local culture. The team at Nude Design created a more spacious master bedroom by removing the existing guest room to accommodate a proper en-suite four fixture master bathroom. The bathrooms were relocated and made more sizeable, the introduction of an open kitchen also helped visually increase the overall space.

We also custom built a liquor cabinet and wine fridge to accommodate these functions. Custom made loose furniture decoration and finishes were carefully detailed and accentuated mostly in the living and dining areas. The wrought iron motif above the bar counter, foyer entrance and door architrave details are also most visible throughout this area.

Black and white chequered floors are typically synonymous with classic foyers, so the designers wanted to create the casual warmth by using burgundy tiles. The sharp teal wardrobe doors also brings a striking feature to an otherwise neutral bedroom temperature, both ideas were enthusiastically accepted by the client’s.
