design et al are delighted to announce that Prestige Global Designs have been shortlisted for Interior Design Scheme – Asia Pacific Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2019.
The Corals at Keppel Bay is a luxurious development in Singapore, which is set to offer a rare and exclusive prestigious waterfront living. The penthouse provides breath taking views of Keppel Bay and the sea. The brief provided to Prestige Global Designs by the client was to create a luxurious and lasting interior that continues to remain comfortable to live in. Modifications to the existing layout of the penthouse was not requested by the client; hence, Prestige Global Designs worked with the original number of rooms, the size of each, and were required to propose and select furniture proportionate to the space.
The client directed towards the use of leading luxury brands for furnishings and accessories and expressed interest in the incorporation of gold into the interior design. Through the ingenious planning of the space, Prestige Global Design created a contemporary luxury ambiance whilst also increasing the functionality of the various spaces. This was achieved through the careful selection of furniture and lighting, as well as providing customised finishes to the materials in order to ensure a one of a kind uniqueness to the pieces.
What makes the interior design of the residence so effective is the consistent flow of the contemporary luxury theme, combined with the simplicity and subtle sophistication throughout, the use of different textures and neutrals as the main colours and the continual use of clean lines throughout the penthouse. In addition, to achieve the spatial effect, Prestige Global Designs proposed a subtle segregation between the living area and the dining area enabling the breath taking panoramic views outside the penthouse to be fully enjoyed and embraced.
