This September London will once again host The International Design & Architecture Awards, but this time there will be a difference. The awards, the largest of their kind based in the UK, will see leading names in the design industry fly into London to celebrate their work and compete in their sectors. However, 2019 marks the 10th anniversary of The Awards and so hosts design et al have doubled their investment in the industry to £2 million this year, solely for PR and editorial for shortlisted designers in these awards and have also created a new award.
The new award – Designer of The Decade – will be the accolade not just of the evening but also the past ten years. It will be the final award given at the event and every designer competing will be considered for this award.
The International Design & Architecture Awards accept applications from throughout the world and support every shortlisted designer with a unique editorial and PR package, whilst concentrating on the pinnacle of the global design sector. The unique voting system has enabled the event to grow rapidly to become one of the world’s most respected awards in this sector and the only one to concentrate on the top end of the market. More than this, the audience engagement in the voting process highlights the strength of design et al’s market and readership.
