design et al are pleased to announce shortlist success for Design Q in the Fifth Annual International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2015. Inairvation – Angled Concept will compete for the Private Jet Concept Design Award.
Design Q has created an innovative cabin mock-up for Inairvation. The design rethinks the traditional aircraft layout creating a living space for aviation travel.
Design Q has integrated functionality into the aircraft. Cabin management systems are controlled by a concealed touch sensitive user interface system embedded into the furniture. Working with the Inairvation team Design Q has used technology to drive design.
Design Q has changed the base inside the aircraft using a diamond configuration to create a greater sense of space. Zones of four seating areas can be transformed to allow additional features to be implemented such as a dining area and full size bed.
The design creates a unique social layout, containing and integrating original ideas and concepts with amazing use of light.
