What direction do you feel design is moving towards in general terms?
A lot of experimentation in different dimensions and new materials, sustainability and more eco-consciousness.

What are the key influencing elements at present? Sustainable elements

What sort of projects are you working on at the moment? Hospitality and F&B

A designer’s work is so diverse – how do you manage to hold down a career and a life?
My social lifestyle gives me inspiration.

Name 5 key essentials for 2012 and beyond.

1. good & efficient lighting that provide moods to a certain space

2. materials that are sustainable and won’t harm the environment

3. technology to produce new ideas / reduce waste

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to design schemes, what would it be?
Be original and don’t be afraid to explore.

How important do you feel Design Awards are as recognition of designers talents and achievements?
The award is important as it is an independent voice that gives motivation and encouragement to the design team who had contributed on the project.

What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?
The goal is to have 5 international awards and aims to attract more international projects / clientele.
