. Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc)

I have the MA Degree in Architect of the Georgian Technical University. I have worked in various constructions and designing companies. In addition to this, I have been having my personal working experience by addressing the clients individually for the architecture design and interior design.

. How would you describe your personal interior design style?

I would describe my style to be not seated in one direction. Working in different styles does benefit to my development in the professional field.

. Where does your design inspiration come from?

Firstly, I would like to say that the main sources of my inspiration were the works of the famous architects like Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier, Lloyd Wright and Zaha Hadid. Secondly, my city, Tbilisi is my inspiration was you can meet the mixture of the various architectural styles.

 . In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?

Regarding the development of the high technologies and the inception of the digital century, people now are more want to seek comfort into the warm cozy atmospheres and to be near to the nature. Consequently, I reckon this is the direction that the design should develop in.

. If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to interior design schemes, what would it be?

I do not agree with the statement that there are any schemes when it comes to the interior design. It is all about the inspiration and the knowledge of comprehending the planning of the space.

. How important are The International Design and Architecture Awards as recognition of talent and achievement?

The recognition of your talent means lot: it mean the success and the opportunity to impelemnt many of your projects

. What projects are you currently working on?

At this stage, I am currently working on the design of the Georgian Cuisine Restaurant in Tbilisi.

. What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?

My objectives are to carry out my project and implement more interesting works as a designer and an architect.

Your favourite way to spend an afternoon? (in no more than 25 words). After work I love to spend time with my friends and family, have some dinner together and enjoy the garden when it is warm outside.

If you weren’t a designer, what would you be? I think I would go into astrophysics and would attempt to work in NASA.

Anything else interesting? When I have some capital made, then I am considering to build a dog-shelter to protect them from the animal cruelty.
