Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc)
I did my HES studies in Switzerland at the Athenaeum school. I have always had a particular sensitivity towards the art’s world and design, that I have discovered over time among exhibitions, travels, showrooms, various media.
How would you describe your personal design style?
The contemporary art dominates my style, but there is always a touch of tradition into my design in order to tell a story. I also like to add some unusual objects to make the scene more exciting.
Where does your design inspiration come from?
It comes from trips, exhibitions and various media like Pinterest … but every object, place, material is a source of inspiration.
In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
Design evolves in a practical way, serving people and their daily lives.
Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in 2019 and beyond.
The design of 2019 should be practical, respectful for people’s diversified lifestyles, timeless, vernacular and ergonomic
If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to design schemes, what would it be?
The best advise I would give is the one of being open to what surrounds us.
