Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc)

Education: Stroganov Academy ( ), postgraduate studies in the theory and history of art, dissertation on the problem of figurative and associative organization of the space of a private Russian mansion of the art Nouveau era, articles in professional publications on the problem of the symbol in a private interior and its influence on the formation of an individual environment. Participant and finalist of professional exhibitions of painting and graphics.

How would you describe your personal design style?

Figurative and associative impressionism

Where does your design inspiration come from?

Nature, the Italian Renaissance, Russian constructivism, Nietzsche’s philosophy and ancient art of Hellas

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?

Merging reality and virtuality: we are what we see and we see what we want to see

I consider myself an artist and if I didn’t do design, I would do painting and write books
