. How would you describe your personal interior design style?

On trend, with a signature coastal influence and an eye for symmetry and architectural detail.

. Where does your design inspiration come from?

The coastal environment, natures ever changing patterns and colour palette,

the project site and of course understanding my clients sense of style.

. In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?

Understated luxury which looks effortless and evolved.

. Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in 2015 and beyond.

Not only for 2015, but whenever you approach design you should always consider; your client, your client’s budget, your timeframe, the longevity of your designs and the functionality of them.

. If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to interior design schemes, what would it be?

Hire an expert!

. How important are The International Design and Architecture Awards as recognition of talent and achievement?

The awards are an exciting way to raise industry standards whilst inspiring design practices to continually strive for excellence and success, no matter where they are based.

. What projects are you currently working on?

We have lots of exciting projects that we are currently working on, including a two storey beach house with a winding ramp into the water, a coastal-country manor home and a waterfront terraced property. All of which we are project managing.

. What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?

As coastal experts I want to continue to deliver timeless, quality design to our clients, and I want to expand our team and repeat our success in other areas.
