Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc)
After studying Interior Architecture and Enviromental Design between 1988 – 1992,
I completed my master degree about Architecture and Marketing at 1995. Following several work experience I founded SPACE architects & designers at 1997.
SPACE architects & designers continues its presence in numerous innovative projects as creative office of architecture, design and project management. The architects, interior designers, landscape architects and project managers at Space serve their clients in professional teams for analysing lands and sites, fixing the correct concepts and planning, implementing the ideas of the projects, and project management.
Basing their designs each time on a particular theme and philosophy, SPACE creates structures and interiors that have stories of their own.
SPACE uses ‘design’ as a marketing tool, in order to create diversifying design concepts, achieving client requirements and reaching target market purposes.
How would you describe your personal design style?
Space architects & designers’ main approach is to create new, dedicated and generic “Universe” for each and every new project.
Our understanding of “Architecture” based on business minded, realistic, deeply cooperative and harmonious with nature. We focus on the final project with the integration of the “intentions” and “plans” of the owners.
Every new project for us is a New Universe to be explored, with deep understanding and mastery of the generic laws of its own to be applied to attain uniquely successful novel and sustainable solutions.
Concept diversification, budget oriented design, design is marketing, strategic business target based concept solutions and target market based concept design are some of mottoes that Space architects & designers appropriate on the projects.
Where does your design inspiration come from?
We are designing to make people happy in their home, hotel room or in a restaurant. And while we are doing that we focus on “dreams” of the client, into real works, solid and upright on their own feet. Inspiration of our designing mentality is based on the nature of society and fashion and relationships.
Name five key themes to consider when approaching design.
Innovation, contemporary, diversification, luxury and uniqueness could be the key themes on designing in our time.
If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to design, what would it be?
Meaning of design is to create structures and interiors that have stories of their own.
How important are The International Hotel and Property Awards as recognition of talent and achievement?
These kinds of awards are very important for connection between ateliers and designers.We are able to know the ideas and every kind of people.
What projects are you currently working on?
We are working on a hotel, 2 restaurants and several residence projects on these days.
What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?
Our ultimate goal is to create the most successful and unique solution to be streamlined with the originally intended objectives of the commissioner and investors.
