Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc)
I studied architecture from MIT Graduate School of Architecture and Planning, holding the Master of Architecture. Before I founded Studio EON, I have worked from several offices including Adjaye Associates(NY), SOM(NY), Diller Scofidio+Renfro(NY), Ateliers Jean Nouvel(Paris), William O’Brien Jr.(MA), and Mass Studies(Seoul).
How would you describe your personal design style?
As our office name EON signifies, which means one billion years, I personally pursue designs that deliver its meanings in a timeless manner, not following a specific trends of the time.
Where does your design inspiration come from?
Although design inspiration comes from everyday life, I am often inspired by great works from other disciplines including sculpture, painting, furniture, etc.
In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
In an architecture field particularly, I see materiality driven projects are being appreciated more than ever, which results in richer projects.

What projects are you currently working on?
I am currently working on single family housing projects.
What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?
I would like to complete designing of my current projects as I keep developing and experimenting on what our office pursues in general.
