Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc)
I completed architectural studies in Warsaw and at the University of Detroit Mercy in USA. I have Polish and French citizenship and create projects in Poland, France, Hungary and Ukraine.
My work is focused around commercial projects, in particular hotels, offices, luxury apartments and shopping malls. I work on some projects with Marriott, Accor, Intercontinental, Vienna house.

How would you describe your personal interior design style?
In all projects I try to tell a story, to evoke emotions. Each project is different because it is created for a different client.

Where does your design inspiration come from?
Inspirations come from nature, local touch, emotions, human customs, and simplicity.

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
“Less is more” in a consumption sense.

Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in 2020 and beyond.
Flexibility in design, the social aspect and conviviality, ecology, new technologies, human approach.

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to interior design schemes, what would it be?
Simplicity in terms of function, design, consumption.

How important are The International Hotel & Property Awards as recognition of talent and achievement?
It allows us to appreciate our work, meet our colleagues and get to know their works.

What projects are you currently working on?
One hotel project in Paris, one in Budapest, a skyscraper in Warsaw, and a luxury hotel in Odessa, Kijev and Lviv.

What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?
To finish the projects I have started. taking the time to finely-tune every detail.

Your most treasured possession? “ time is all we have”

Your favourite holiday destination? Africa: Namibia

Your favourite hotel, restaurant & bar? Conservatorium Amsterdam hotel, a small French restaurant, a beach bar in Asia

Your favourite book, film & song? The Little Prince Novella by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, A flight over a coo-coo’s nest, How Many Roads by Bob Marley

Your favourite food? Asian food

Your favourite way to spend an afternoon? Sport, painting

If you weren’t a designer, what would you be?
Traveller or sailor

Anything else interesting? ? I love travelling, meeting people, learning their culture and habits. I also love designing jewellery.
As an architect I work with the architects without borders charity.(architects sans frontiers)
