This stunning lighting piece was a bespoke design for their project at the prestigious One Hyde Park.
Following their principles of organic, understated elegance, they designed a piece that originally derived from the abstraction of a human hand clasping the ceiling.
The functional design approach was to diffuse light through the natural raw material of quartz. Bronze elements were used for housing and clasps. Bronze was replaced for brass where the light source had direct contact to the metal not to lose the richness and warmth of the golden colour.
Casa Forma are previous winners of the International Design and Architecture Awards from design et al Magazine and have also been shortlisted this year with multiple projects.
