design et al are delighted to announce that Jane Churchill Interiors have been shortlisted for Luxury Residence – London Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2019.
Jane Churchill Interiors were enlisted for the interior design of a luxury and elegant apartment located in the heart of prestigious South West London, Kensington. A property which boasts beautiful period features, high ceilings and ample lateral space for the perfectly family home.
Jane Churchill Interiors were given carte blanche across the entire project to create a luxury, elegant home, that would also be suitable for a family of three. No detail was spared nor comfort restricted, as one would expect from a luxurious Kensington Apartment. This project encapsulates a classically elegant interior with streaks of contemporary flair for which Jane Churchill Interiors is renowned.
The designers believe that one of the key aspects of this project is the elongated hallway which really gives one a sense of the grandiose of the building as you move from room to room. The high ceilings and tall windows allow for scale and proportion to be appreciated through the use of grand and ornate pieces. The ample lateral spaces make for a perfect home for a small family.
Nickel work was one of the specialist skills that was involved in the design of this project, the intricate detailing can be seen on the windows throughout the property. The ornate, grand and elegant interiors have been adapted inside so as to mimic the property’s neighbouring grand buildings, such as the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal College of Music, a luxury residence that complements its renowned neighbours.
