design et al are delighted to announce that Kasa Interiors have been shortlisted for Interior Design Scheme – UK Award within The International Design and Architecture Awards 2018.
This project involved the interior design of a luxurious bespoke built residential home of 15,000 sq. ft. set within a secluded woodland setting in Berkshire. The overseas purchaser of this luxurious property, had requested their chosen developer to select an interior designer on their behalf. The brief was “a modern and impressive interior, to reflect the opulent property and its surroundings, combined with practicality and durability to cope with high volumes of family visitors”.
Kasa Interiors presented its vision for a mix of formal and relaxed reception rooms, together with 6 bedrooms, home cinema and games room via mood boards and 3D CGI’s which were delivered to the overseas client. Kasa Interiors own research into the clients’ background, secured the project in their favour. The project was completed at the end of July 2017, when the clients were due to move into it as their summer family residence for a mere 6-8 weeks in early August.
The developer created a property that maximised the beauty of the 56-acre woodland position, by installing large windows and vast amounts of light. At the same time, they preserved the surrounding woodland, views, and dense lush landscapes. The occupants were able to appreciate the beautiful scenery from curved, floor to ceiling windows uninhibited by window dressings. The entire project from architectural design through to the dressing, kept the environment, its trees, lush landscapes, and its inhabitants in mind.
Kasa Interiors believe that their design concept was particularly successful as the property offers flexibility. This luxurious home can be used in many ways depending on whether the occupants have family staying over, who want to relax and instantly feel at home, or friends that they want to entertain with style or even clients who they want to impress. Kasa Interiors believe that it’s not just a home, it’s a dining venue, a home office, and a statement of success.
The designers received outstanding feedback from the clients, the family have found it to be practical, comfortable, and homely. With various family members arriving regularly, there is always a room appropriately dressed, with places to relax in and instantly feel at home. Friends visiting have passed comment on its stylish, modern, unique features delivered in wall coverings, art, and accessories. For entertaining, the client has been able to host many formal/corporate dinners allowing the property to emulate his success.
