In Light from Switzerland have been shortlisted for the Lighting Scheme award in the International Design & Architecture Awards 2015.

In Light focus on the diversity of light and lighting applications, as well as on technical knowledge in order to create lighting concepts.

The team found that the narrow, but long living room did not give too many opportunities to create a cosy and relaxing environment with interior furnishings, but for the family it was important to live in an area where they can relax, enjoy and recharge their batteries. Another challenge for the In Light team, was to integrate the kitchen as a part of the living area.

The use of light in the room created an amazing and joyful ambiance without using a lot of space.  Light speaks it’s own language and it affects our perception. It’s not necessary for living rooms to be loaded with furniture to create a relaxing living atmosphere.
