design et al are delighted to announce that Lonni Paul Design have been shortlisted for Fabric Award within The International Design and Architecture Awards 2018.
This collection truly represents livable luxury. Lonni Paul drew inspiration from the runways of Chanel, Armani, and Ralph Lauren to create patterns that would bring classic couture to interior environments. Lonni Paul Design worked very closely with the fabric mill to attain a sophisticated, fresh, calm and subtle pallet for the collection that truly embraces her aesthetic. It was so important to achieve a rich look and a soft, expensive hand, to wovens that are also able to repel stains and resist odours and excessive abrasion.
Lonni Paul’s love of fashion, travel, design, and architecture together with her love of family, food, movies, and literature have all uniquely shaped her perspective. With over 20 years’ experience building homes, and over 10 years building her interior design firm in Los Angeles, she has become recognized for her timeless, sophisticated, and liveable approach to colour and design.
Lonni Paul believes that spaces in the home are intended to be enjoyed for years to come and should be able to evolve and grow as your lifestyle and your families’ needs change. When designing for clients over the years, Lonni Paul has noticed that people gravitate towards neutral pallets that are enlivened by contrasting rich blues and charcoals or elevated by adding soft and graceful pastels.
Typically, you would see an all-white living room and think “that’s not a family friendly space”, but with Crypton Home’s stain resistant technology integrated into every fabric of the collection no room has to be “off limits” to any family members or pets. It’s very exciting to be able to offer fashion-forward patterns and colours in a liveable, durable collection that is accessible to everyone!
