Harmony World Consultant & Design have been shortlisted for Lobby/ Public Areas – Asia Pacific Award in The International Hotel and Property Awards 2021.
The designer combines Oriental aesthetics with contemporary aesthetics in order the create a space that works for the property style and location. The design helps to shape the space with an eternal and elegant style for an area that works for various functions and has a grandeur about it.
Located in Zhoushan city, Zhejiang Province, China, the project is blessed with a unique natural environment and a thriving economy. What designers are seeking is not only a trend-leading aesthetic of the times, but also a way of life beyond The Times. The ultra-flat aesthetic style and oversized Windows greatly increase the scale and broaden the horizon horizontally, bringing light and natural views into the interior. The more light and transparent architecture and space form brings a more textured life experience.
The interior Spaces are linked together by large areas of transparent glass this is able to create and illusion of feeling as though the inside is outside giving the feeling of endless space within the main areas.
At the same time, many local cultural elements are also used in the project, which not only has a unique aesthetic feeling setting it apart and giving a sense of life, but also is in harmony with the whole of the project. This makes the space feel welcoming as well as vast in size.
