design et al are delighted to announce that Lynne Blumberg Interior Design have been shortlisted for Luxury Residence £1-2.5 Million Award in The International Hotel & Property Awards 2019.
Lynne Blumberg Interior Design were appointed for the complete interior revamp of a client’s metropolitan house. The Villa was old and outdated, the young client longed for a vibrant upbeat space that could grow alongside him and his young family. The house was dark and over furnished Lynne Blumberg Interior Design took the house right back to its original bones, making use of the existing huge windows and open plan spaces the finished look was achieved with no construction.
The client was very relaxed in his brief, he favoured easy living, with a sophistication that was chic but not orchestrated nor overwhelming, beautiful, elegant but comfortable furniture that could withstand a young family and lots of casual entertaining. The client left most of the choices of design, fabrics & furniture to the interior design team.
Lynne Blumberg Interior Design made use of the open plan spaces creating different areas for which the client could use for entertaining. Making use of the large windows the designers managed to create an effortless indoor-outdoor feel with many of the main living areas opening out on to the mature gardens and pool area.
The designers furthered this feeling by using the bold colour palette from the outdoors throughout the design using bespoke cabinetry, soft furnishings, opening up the spaces and curating the entire space. Lynne Blumberg Interior Design turned this previously dated and dreary house into a bold and creative space perfect for summers of entertaining and gave the house a new lease of life.
