MacMaster Design have won themselves a space on the Table shortlist for The International Product Design Awards 2013.

Their design is a mixture of complex birch wood laminations and wood veneer which interlock at angles to form a three – point leg structure that supports the glass top.

The idea behind the Expose coffee table is to allow the natural synthesis between the form and materials to take centre stage. There is no embellishment or added drama to the piece, just the interactions between simple curves which give the table movement.
