design et al are delighted to announce that Masha Rosliakova have been shortlisted for Living Space – Europe Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2019.
The clients wanted the interior to be a dignified living space for life, without suppressing, but effectively highlighting the lines of the contemporary space where clients play the main role. One of the key requirements was to develop a spacious area that symbolises freedom and vastness.
This was achieved with the help of gentle and peaceful hues of the magical beauty of natural materials, that amplify the calmness and tranquillity of the property.
The dramatic art panel of Agates with an illumination system in the hall became the dominant place around which the movement in the apartment was formed and showed the clients their beauty in a diverse perspective. This detail makes the interior space unique and memorable.
The project by Masha Rosliakova has reached a very specific and memorable yet modern open space, where the use of unique materials in the main area of the interior bring the property to life. The highlight of the property belongs to the blue Agates wall in the central hall as this sets the tone for the rest of the property. Other highlights include The Saint Lourent marble in the kitchen which really helps bring the room to life, the white Onix in the master bathroom and the Ebony flooring.
The main principle that has been used by Masha is careful implementation of clean lines, correct proportioning and attention to detail. Attention to detail has been injected into all areas of the property helping to connect the separate spaces. Different materials have been used such as soft walls mirrors, marble and wood doors. All this was designed from the very beginning as a multilevel surface and in the end assembled as a puzzle and have created a picture of elegance and style.
The Design integrates into the wider environment through is gentle and calm design, this helps it to blend in and feel as though it has always belonged.
