Sartoria Lamberti, a fashion and dining experience like no other, where Italian chefs and Italian designers compete for your attention. Located in the famous Ritz Carlton hotel in Moscow, this new Italian restaurant combines a fashion museum, onsite working tailor shop and a new age kitchen.
The space by Uilliam Lamberti, designed in partnership with Yuna Megre of MEGRE INTERIORS, was designed to create a gastronomic atelier that captivated all five senses.
Your eyes will be drawn to the walls where dressmaking patterns and famous Hollywood Fashion costumes on loan from the archives of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (National Chamber of Italian Fashion) sit on display behind glass. For example, Pierce Brosnan’s Brioni Tuxedo from Die Another Day and Ava Gardner’s dress from the Barefoot Contessa can be seen hanging on the wall. Mannequins surround the room, with tape measures hanging from their neck. Rows of paper pattern pieces and clothing blocks are hung together, creating a beautifully striking feature along the walls.
To top off the fashion forward experience, the waiting on staff are dressed in custom pieces designed by Gennaro Annunziata, who is known in Italy for his luxury menswear brand. Annunzuiata was named the best young tailor at the Sartorial Thread awards.
The restaurant design concept was inspired by a classic tailor shop. With a needle woman’s workshop in mind, the waiters take orders like a tailor would take measurements. The orders are then handed over to the chefs, like sketches would be handed over to a seamstress. The food is then prepared like that of tailored garment and handed over as a beautifully crafted finished product to the customer. From start to finish, every aspect of this restaurant has been designed with the key concept and story line in mind.
When visiting Sartoria Lamberti, you are sure to be immersed into the full, fashion and dining experience. Full of inspiration, education, iconic garments and delicious food, it is sure to be an experience that you will never forget.
