SELEDA is a semi-displacement 27 metre motor yacht, built in wood and epoxy with a teak deck. Her twin 800 hp MAN engines will nudge her to a top speed of 17 knots with a cruising speed of 14 knots. Mengi Yay has designed SELEDA to have 1 master, 1 VIP and 2 guest cabins. A total of 8 people can be accommodated comfortably, along with 2 crew cabins for 3 crew members.
The master cabin offers a spacious layout area of 25 m², with an electric fireplace which can be used all year round especially in the Winter. The saloon up on the main deck is 30 m², which gives this area an expansive feel. The main deck features a movable seating sear in the bow, this area has the ability to be a comfortable lounge area, dining area or sunbathing spot.
The designers favourite and key aspect of SELEDA is said to be the spacious exterior/interior mix. The semi displacement is reflected through the modern lines and unique window design making members inside feel closer to the sea surface. Mengi Yay Yachts AQUARIUS won two Awards in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2017; the Power Yacht over 40 Meters Award submitted by Mengi Yay and Interior Design Award submitted by Autoban.
