The property, a 2,800 sq ft apartment in Eaton Place, was transformed into a second home for their client who lives overseas. The brief was to subtly introduce a masculine, middle eastern aesthetic whilst at the same time valuing the very classical, historic interior.
Carefully selected chandeliers were chosen to reflect the need to maintain the integrity of the period features of the property and timeless Italian furniture was introduced to enhance the feeling of opulence while providing a key bridge linking the classic with the styles of today.
Providing a discerning edge to the design, collectable retro Serge Mouille floor and wall lights together with specially commissioned artwork have been subtly added to reflect the client’s personal taste. The core palette was an earthy, textured scheme introducing Asian floral prints and pops of orange and teal blues which bring the interior to life in a very gentle, eclectic yet timeless way.
