Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc)

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
I think people are trying to move to colour and having more fun in their design, I would like to hope that people are less worried what others think and try to express their personality.

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to interior design schemes, what would it be?
