Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc)
I worked with the largest developers in Toronto ,Canada from the age of 18 and became top in my field in Design Studio Management. I then left to start my own firm in 2000.
How would you describe your personal design style?
Timeless Contemporary
Where does your design inspiration come from?
I love following great designers from around the world and visiting notable hotels.
In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
I feel people are looking for simplicity. I have clients moving away from traditional style to modern for the ease of maintenance and visual relaxation.
Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in 2020 and beyond.
Light colours, thoughtful organization, extra attention on lighting, statement accent colour and bold artwork.
If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to design schemes, what would it be?
Pick 1 colour paint, 2 metal finishes and one wood colour..repeat throughout home.
How important are The International Design & Architecture Awards?
It is a particularly important award because it symbolizes a designer’s international appeal. It is also a great platform for designers to gain international clients.
What projects are you currently working on?
I have 2 showrooms, four 12,000 sqft homes, a furniture line, an ecommerce site, and a newborn son.
What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?
Growing international exposure and launching my commerce site that ships worldwide.

I am serial entrepreneur always fascinated with creating things that help people access great design. I wake up and go to sleep thinking about creative projects. I love defining the undefinable in spaces for people that always elevate their lifestyles.

Anything else interesting? I just had a son and he is my everything. Best project ever.
