. What direction do you feel design is moving towards in general terms?

Designs are getting more and more technological. More flexible multifunctional spaces when it comes to arrangement on yachts. As for exterior styling designs are becoming more and more organic and glass as a material is becoming more and more utilised.

. What projects are you currently working on?

The 46m will start construction around mid November so busy getting everything ready for that. At the same time still developing the 37m Project Green.

. If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to design schemes, what would it be?

Listen to the demands of the client and then don’t over complicate it

 . A designer’s work is so diverse – how do you manage to hold down a career and a life?

Try to take one day at a time and try to remember one way or another things get sorted out eventually

. How important are The International Yacht and Aviation Awards as recognition of talent and achievement?

Awards such as these allow designers to showcase their work and receive recognition. It is always nice to know that something you design is appreciated.

. What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?

Currently the main focus is on the construction of the 46m. At the same time use this boost to start new designs that push us to new limits.

Everywhere is special still plenty of places to visit

No favourite hotel, for restaurants I like simple local places and bars anywhere where you don’t have to shout to hear yourself or others is great. 

The place that gives you the most energy?

Anywhere with a group of good friends

And the place that enables you to totally relax?

Sailing around South of Turkey/Greek islands
