Classic and contemporary chic come together harmoniously in a stunning new re-design of a Grade II listed 1840’s apartment in Kensington. A project completed by Purple Design, whose imaginative and dynamic approach to form and style is underpinned by a skilful combination of classic and contemporary chic. The apartment has more than regained its former prestige. The signature is bold, contemporary styling with total commitment to the highest quality materials, uncompromising ideas and vigorous attention to detail to create magnificent interiors, as well as the skills of expert craftsmen who can realise their vision with a sympathetic eye for detail.
In conceiving the look and ambiance of the living space, the designer opted for bold, contemporary styling, yet at the same time sympathetically incorporating subtle yet significant references to the classic proportions of the Victorian era. A bespoke pallet of harmonious colours, marble flooring, solid wenge herringbone flooring.
The apartment was completely redesigned and refurbished. The latest technology, excellent craftsmanship, quality materials, uncompromising ideas and attention to detail are sympathetically fused with the classic proportion and detailing of the building. Opulent and glamorous design, high quality materials used in unusual and inventive ways, luxurious fabrics, sumptuous colours and elegant clean lined furniture all combine to make Purple Design’s the epitome of old school glamour.
