BULLDOG 88 is one of the fully custom projects developed by Santamargherita Yachts from the new fleet for the relaunch of the Cantieri Navali Santamargherita brand. The main vision behind the project was to create a custom-made yacht that combines all features of a super yacht within 88 feet. Inspired by power and strong navigation skills this custom designed 88 feet Sport Explorer Vessel (SEV) has a distinctive transformable layout combining modern elegance with large open living spaces.
A unique feature of this yacht is the incredible versatility of its living space around the formal dining area accommodating 12 guests where tall sliding doors allow you to modulate and transform the space according to weather conditions and needs of the owner. Another interesting feature of this yacht is the large stern sundeck partially covering the 30 m² beach club enabling the guest to enjoy the sun as well as the shade whilst in water proximity. The beach club is transformed into the garage for the yacht’s annex/toys during navigation.
Bulldog 88 can accommodate 8 guests in 165 m² of comfortable indoor living area comprised of a stunning full beam Master suite on the main deck, as well as a large VIP suite plus 2 others guest staterooms situated on the lower deck, all with private ensuite bathrooms. The lower deck accommodates a large crew area of 20 m² for three crew.
With panoramic views, the top deck has a large sundeck area of 50 m² furnished with some of the most elegant and comfortable designer’s outdoor furniture and the Jacuzzi has been moved to the bow for more privacy. On the upper deck the wheelhouse is enclosed by large windows with 360° views allowing you to navigate in all weather conditions in total comfort.
In order to position the BULLDOG 88 in the Olympus of its category this entirely Italian made yacht is built, despite its CE certification, according to Superyacht standards and is characterized by its large space (130 Grt), as well as brilliant navigation skills. Ettore Cicchelero, the director of Cantieri Navali Santamargherita feels that people need to look back in the history of yachting where yachts were made as custom designed and built masterpieces with strong navigation proficiency. Yachts should not just be luxury floating homes, but engineered and built with the aptitude to navigate smoothly in all temperaments of the ocean.
