design et al are delighted to announce that Sarp Yachts have been shortlisted for the Concept Over 40 Metres Award in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2019.
XSR 155 is the flagship of XSR series with the design inspiration deriving from nature. Sarp Yachts aim was to integrate enclosed spaces with more light and functional flexibility with green technology. The focus for this yacht was the owner’s freedom and flexibility on board. To achieve this, Sarp Yachts have made full glass living areas and spacious exteriors with loose furniture. The key element of the design is the architectural glass arrangement which surrounds the entire salon, giving great lightness and visibility from the inside-out and giving the owner a unique open deck feeling.
A sculptural, circular staircase and elevator connect the floors while allowing sunlight to stream into the lower-deck guest lobby. Located at the foredeck of the main deck, the sumptuous full-beam master suite comes with an office, dressing room, his-and-her baths, as well as a balcony on each side. Thanks to the four remaining lower-deck staterooms (two double and two twin cabins), the yacht can accommodate up to 12 people. Crew quarters are located forward on the lower deck, and a captain’s cabin is up on the upper deck off the wheelhouse.
The XSR 155 will be built with the parallel hybrid propulsion system; the best alternative for the fossil fuel. The hybrid propulsion system enables you to avoid the noise, vibrations, emissions and expense of running your diesel generators at anchor. Thus, she is a perfect harmony of spacious volume, comfort & silence with zero compromise from style.
