London based The Sofa and Chair Company have been impressing the shortlist panel again with The Fenton. This elegant Fenton chair has been designed to add a modern twist to their current collection. The idea was to design a statement armchair that could stand alone in a modern living space; and equally compliment some of their modern sofa pieces.

The elegant shapes and fine curves are beautiful, however the addition of a swivel base give this piece an informal and comfortable advantage.

It is simple in design, while the backrest and swivel base encompasses a rich yet casual dynamic that gives an added element of style.

This is the second piece from The Sofa and Chair Company to be shortlisted into The International Product Design Awards 2013 both in the Sofa and Chair category respectively.
