Figura have been shortlisted for the Kitchen Over £50,000 award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2015.

The brief was to turn a disused coach house stable which was attached to the main house in to a magnificent central statement kitchen incorporating the stunning hidden walled garden.  Washed tulip wood furniture accentuates the light coming in from three large windows and picks up the delicate Aga powder blue beautifully and contrasts with the bold raspberry pink.

The iroko breakfast bar inlay sits perfectly with the solid honed Verdi fontain granite. The vast room allows for the raspberry pink to be both fun and individual but not to overwhelm the furniture or the dictate the feel of the entire space.

The designers’ favourite aspect of the project is the vast breakfast bar with its textured solid honed Verdi fontain granite is a stunning centre piece which roots the room and provides the main hub for this large space. The design brings together all the different elements in the room – the light, the gardens, the height and vastness of the room with warmth, vibrancy and elegance.
