design et al are delighted to announce shortlist success for Nikki B Signature Interiors in the International Design & Architecture Awards 2015. Emirates Hills, in Dubai, will compete for the Gulf States Residential £10 Million Plus (Property Value) Award.
The project is a family owned property of full time use, with spectacular views and a modern cubist design.
The brief was to create a warm family home, yet have areas suitable for formal entertaining and casual entertaining, to cater for the adults and two teenage boys. It was important to create new facilities as well as maximise the use of space both inside the house and within the grounds.
The clients intelligence and keen interest in works of art and sculptures were key to the success of this project, together with their willingness to take on new ideas and see the project through to the end. The finished design fulfils the clients expectations and more, and it reflects their personalities and showcases the house to its maximum impact.
