Accessed via a broad staircase from the spectacular 32nd floor lobby of the Westin Hotel, Singapore, the gastro bar ‘Cook and Brew’ exudes an old-school gentleman’s club vibe, albeit with a modern thread of relaxed-luxe.
Taking advantage of its elevated perch, the expansive space offers superb views through the floor to ceiling glass on two sides- with an outlook that encompasses the nearby coastline and city’s prestigious skyline.
Taking its cue from perennially popular gastropubs, replete with warm timber paneling, a long black marble-topped bar, luxurious leather sofas and armchairs on unpolished handscrapped recycled wooden floors, the bar exhibits the relaxed ambience of a traditional pub in a contemporary iteration.
In addition to the spacious main bar and lounge area, a separate dining section occupies the far corner of the floorspace, featuring a plush full length black leather tufted banquette combined with traditional timber dining chairs. The abundance of natural light offsets magnificent views rounding off the gastronomic experience with sensory delights.
