Design Intervention have been shortlisted for the Residential £10 Million Plus (Project Value) Award in the International Design & Architecture Awards 2015.

The project is a family home on the Singapore island of Sentosa with lovely water views designed for an expatriate Norwegian businessman, his wife, their 3 children and two dogs. The home enjoys a magnificent vista and the client wanted the home to resonate with a feeling of breezy island living.

With a young family and two dogs, the clients wanted a home that was eminently practical and the resonated with a vibe of easy relaxed living. But at the same time, the clients wanted a home elegant enough to entertain business clients.

The team are particularly proud of how we have captured the essence of island life and created a home that resonates with a subtle Asian vibe giving the client the sense of place that they were looking for, yet at all times respecting the crisp modern, architectural style of the home.
