design et al is delighted to announce shortlist success for SUNREEF YACHTS in the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2015. SUNREEF 74 WildBerry will compete for the Sailing Yacht up to 30 Metres Award.
In the last days of December 2014, the Sunreef Yachts shipyard launched the first unit from the newest line of sailing catamarans – the Sunreef 74. In accordance to the wishes of the Owners, she has been named WildBerry.
Her main characteristic feature is the elegant and dynamic design, which has been achieved thanks to a sleek superstructure with vertical bows and limited freeboards. The yacht has impressive living space and a fully open 35m2 saloon, which is located on the main deck, and offers spectacular panoramic views.
The mast, boom, crossbeams and even the tender lifting arms are built in carbon, which makes the Sunreef 74 Evolution light and quick, while remaining stable. The very first unit launched will also feature a carbon furling boom which will make all manoeuvres even easier. One of the unique features of the yacht is the fully automatic sail system, that allows the boat to be handled by only 2 people.
WildBerry offers a total of 240m2 of living space, that include luxury cabins for 6 people and 2-3 crew members. The intelligently designed yacht has special shelves and extra storage space for food supplies, which makes it ideal for long cruises planned by its Owners.
The yacht made her Atlantic Cruise straight after the launch and was delivered in Florida on March 17th 2015.
