design et al are delighted to announce that Sunrise Yachts have been successful shortlisted in the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2016.
Irimari is a majestic ocean-going megayacht with transoceanic range, featuring all the luxury amenities you would expect on such a yacht and destined to offer ultimate comfort at sea for extended cruising and a most memorable experience.
The favourite aspect of the project is the variation of a common design vocabulary in order to achieve spaces which flow into each other and form a sequence with well-matched surfaces. Therefore the different rooms create a calm and inviting environment without ever being boring. The design works so well due to the attention is purposefully grabbed by highlights which ensure the individuality and purpose of each room. These highlights never compete with each other but appeal with the overall ambiance on board, they are designed to complement and enhance each other.
The vessel’s graceful lines and perfect proportions are penned by the ever-talented Espen Øino. They offer an ideal combination of spectacular living spaces whose impressive dimensions are large enough to be visually breathtaking, but yet still allow for berthing at most superyacht marinas worldwide.
IRIMARI has a stunning bleached-oak and copper-strip interior designed by Focus Yacht Design of Bremen and naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design of Antalya. She is a full-displacement motor yacht capable of cruising up to 6,000 miles and reaching a top speed of 17 knots.
