design et al are delighted to announce that Tailored Interior have been shortlisted for Interior Design Scheme – Americas Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2019.
A 2300 Square foot artfully crafted luxury residence completed using luxe finishes, textiles, and products with a natural scheme using shades and tints with undertones of blue.
Tailored Interior believe interior design represents a way of life, a way of living and a reflection of who we are as individuals. The design scheme in this luxury residence was carefully curated, selected, and thought out to create the absolute perfect ambience for a variety of potential home buyers. Tailored Interior were able to create a thoughtful design mix using both organic and natural textures with modern and elegant finishes. This mix is warm and intriguing yet modern and luxe. The inspiration began with a liking to particular hues of blue, and therefore grew to have chosen all products with an undertone of blue. This results in a perfect balance and consistency that is carried throughout the residence.
The main floor is full birch hardwood flooring, an open concept that is commenced with a spacious living area that leads into an elite custom kitchen with blue and grey veining waterfall carrera quartz counter tops. Immediately after, you will find yourself smoothly transitioning into a modern dining space, and just around the corner you will find a boot room and bathroom. Leading to the second floor, is a full width, full length glass wall and plush carpeting.
The second floor also with a full length and full width glass hallway wall, is where you will find master bedroom, master bathroom, master walk in closet, two more bedrooms and a generous main floor bathroom. All bathrooms are equipped with under cabinet sensored LED strip lighting and luxe products and finishes like vessel faucets, vessel sinks, and carrera quartz counter tops. The second floor leads to a third floor living area that Tailored Interior designed to be a living area loft that has a custom ten foot sliding door which leads to its own rooftop patio that overlooks the Edmonton downtown area, with a view like no other in the city. This area is a top floor loft that is accompanied by its own rooftop patio. The loft contains custom designed work like a custom nine shelf LED lit wine rack and cedar beams running across the entirety of the space and the inclined vaulted ceiling. The smooth harmonious transition and consistency although using completely distinct products and finishes in every space in the residence, whether it be small or large, creates a distinct feel for every space and make every space special in its own unique way.
